Just randomly chose a movie with my platoon mates after our buffet session at Yuki Yaki today. Ok the food was average but extremely filling because the main dishes were meat based. Anyway not being a particularly ardent fan of Deathnote- I've never watched the first two films anyway, I truly enjoyed the movie. L (above) was strikingly endeearing. You just got to love his funny antics and eccentric behaviour, especially the scene where he typed in his typical bizarre fashion wearing a spastic looking mask. Anyway Jerry's enactment of the overall story had me intrigued by the highly sophisticated plot. Went looking for the DVD at west mall just now to no avail. Hopefully I can lay my hands on the DVD soon!
The search for the terrorist chief is still ongoing and the news just reported that the search has been extended to Bukit Batok nature reserve. the thought of such a highly dangerous fugitive near my compound is really fear inducing but I have faith that the army and police will nab him soon.
I parted company with my 2 year old Zen V Plus for an iPod Classic. Sentiments aside, my new gadget looks pretty cool and has a memory of 80GB. Still, I will miss my old MP3.
Today's game in the rain ended on a high but QM broke news of his ankle injury probably barring him from soccer for a long time. Its kind of sad not being able to play with him but I really hope he recovers soon! A player of his calibre is a worthy teammate indeed.
Tomorrow I'll drop by the career fair at Suntec. Hopefully I can find something of value! Haven't met dearest all week..really missing her already. Hopefully I can visit her at home tomorrow but I guess I won't stay for long also to minimise her distraction. I can see she put in her 200%.. I hope her hard work pays off! *prays
