Truly, unexpectedly good! I must say this movie ranks among the best I've watched this year! Based on Dr Catherine Lim's novella, this story revolves around a couple's promise to meet every leap year. Wong Li Lin excels in her portrayal of Li Ann, a young woman determined to hold on to her faith that her prince will appear one day in her life. If you're refuse to chase after your dreams and settle instead for some substitute, you cannot find true happiness. That was what I gathered from the show which by itself is a powerful statement if you consider the fact that so many in life give up pursuing their ideals by surrendering to the harsh realities of life. Also the music in the background was superbly chosen as the sweet melody of Corrine May's best tunes integrated seamlessly with the unfolding of the plot. The cast was superb, the plot was superb, the songs were superb and basically, if a movie is able to touch me, it's good, considering my indifference to most supposedly tear jerking movies.

Yesterday I finally put forth my application into Law School. However there is still the interview and psychometric test to go through. Uncertainty is destabilising me but I'm moving at a tentative pace towards what would eventually be my future profession. I'm praying someone up above is guiding me towards my eventual destiny.
I realise HZ is actually more mature than he appears to be. He is more driven and clear of his ambitions than me despite his apparent slack appearance. I wished there was someone to direct me..but I guess I can only experiment to unveil my calling.

Kenji's album is disappointingly less impressive than his previous 将军令. However there are still a number of ballads that are catchy in tune and also the song depicting his life so far was interesting and inspiring. Even idols do not have it easy all the way! I guess to truly succeed there is no substitute for grit and hard work!



L! Seriously his wit is worthy of my admiration, even as a fictitious character. ZZZ...I guess I'm probably too obsessed with the plot! Off to watch Man U Vs Derby! Hopefully great news await! :D
