So today is a day of missed calls...sorry guys! Anyway today was super duper jam packed with activities from soccer in the morning which was a workout long due to the horribly mild Hollywood version of Shutter and the chillin out session at The Mind Cafe...which was actually my first time there and I've gotta admit I had pretty much fun playing out the dares for losing the games!
Anyway while waiting for the movie...we happened to browse through some albums at a music store at Marina and this lady with pristine vocals (above) had her melodies played out over the stereos. Upon further probing I realised her name is Olivia Ong and the album in question was "Fall in Love With Olivia". I enjoy listening to her soothing vocals and I recommend her highly to jazz and blues lovers. She sounds kinda similar to Corraine May and both are Singaporeans. So locals are not necessarily devoid of talent!
Anyway Step Up 2 was a smasher! The street moves coupled with the thumping music meant that it has far surpassed its predecessor. So many great movies on...can't wait to exhaust them all!
